How to avoid anger

Anger is one of the uncontrollable feelings we possess as humans, it is a feeling that can cause us to act in an outragous way without realising the effect of what we say or what we do. It is hard to manage a feeling such as anger, but there is always a solution to every problem, so how do we go about doing this?

First we must think as to what causes us to be angry. Is it the actions of other people?, or is it their words? Is it our own actions and words? Secondly, what was the cause that allowed a response that then caused you to be angry.. in simple english.. what did you do, or what did they do for you to be angry about it later on? What was the reason behing the action.. you see, it is very important that each time we face a problem, we take out time to think about that problem and try to solve it by creating a web of solutions or possibilities.. so we go back and start from scratch.. i am angry because.. she/he/ i said or done this because... what drove him/her/me to do that was..

Once we have those in the picture we can the go back and think.. am i the oppressor or the oppressed? If i am the oppressor, then why am i angry? i deserve what is coming to me, "today is with you, tommorow is against you" if i am the oppressed, then why have i been oppressed? am i responsible for this oppression? or do i have no part to play? if i have been oppressed wrongly and on no basis, then how do i go about this?

Firstly we must take into account the type of oppression, how far have i been oppressed? is it something i can let go of? can i forgive and forget? Now that i have been oppressed, what is my next action, do i want to use the same brutal and ignorant mentality of my oppressor, or do i want to be "the better person", we have to always remember that "two wrongs dont make a right", and that the "peace-maker is the blessed one" the one who can keep peace between two people, this is because we can think of the constructive affects such an action is to bring, if we continue to be well mannered and well tempered with people, showing them patience, and bearing with them then we are the successors. Are we not?

Going back to the question, how do we control our anger?

There are many ways that this can be done:

-By taking deep breaths
-By taking a power sleep, where we clench our toes, and release them while lying on the bed taking deep breaths
-By ignoring as much as we can and thinking of osmething pleasent instead
-Couting to 10 always works for me
-Biting back my tongue helps too sometimes
-Listening to classic music
Washing our face with cold water

I think this post has prolonged rather, so i hope we can all try in our best of ways to control our anger as best as we can.
